Maths Tutor Bedford provides a supportive approach to learning GCSE Maths that will build confidence, self-belief and a positive attitude to solving maths problems. With more than 20 years of working with children and adults of all abilities, MTB has helped numerous children to secure places in highly selective private and grammar schools for their A Level studies as well as ensuring those that need that elusive pass to enter 6th form secure the requisite grade.
We understand how stressful and anxious Maths can be for some children and we aim to nurture a more positive mindset. With MTB, your child will learn rapidly and gain in confidence to tackle the increasing demands of the syllabus.
Our focal point is on developing a clear understanding of the underlying concepts so that students can think and use their problem-solving ability rather than learning rules by rote.
Services
GCSE One To One Tutoring
GCSE One to One tuition is a very different kind of learning to that your child will have experienced at school. It enables children to catch up or excel at an accelerated rate.
GCSE Group Courses
Some students work better in a more collaborative environment and GCSE group courses and programs can provide a cost effective introduction to Maths tuition.
GCSE Intensive Revision
GCSE Intensive revision programmes usually take place in the Easter Break or May Half Term just prior to the exams. The sessions cover all examinable areas.
GCSE Full Day Courses
These are bespoke 1-1 all day sessions where the student dictates the topics they wish to cover and the level and pace at which the day progresses.
GCSE Home Schooling
For children who are home schooled, additional support from a private tutor provides students with a chance to revisit more difficult topics and explore new techniques.
Parental Tutoring
If your child is having difficulties with some of the fundamentals of maths and you are struggling to support them, a few parental support sessions can teach you how to teach them.
